Wilson Gomes de Medeiros Jr. (Junior) is a the founder of the “Safe Zone” Method. Through his experience playing and coaching with some of the biggest clubs in the world, coach Junior has developed an natural way of teaching players how to play in a team environment, while reinforcing a player’s ability to make independent decisions. Coach Junior has engaging style that allows him to work with players of all ages to share the passion he has for the game of soccer. All our FCSC Teams have adopted components of Coach Junior’s methodology.
Coach Junior grew up playing on the streets and beaches of Brazil and was one of the original developers of world-wide beach soccer in in Rio de Janeiro. His professional experience includes:
